the restello project

just chanced upon these dreamy images of a luxurious residential block that is about to begin construction in Kolkata, India. we love that the Restello combines elements of traditional Eastern architecture with innovative sustainable practices - the steel structure apparently allows for a balance of flowing open living spaces and private rooms, and its perforated steel shutter facade filters sunlight and provides natural ventilation. would love to see more of such architecture in place of glass and concrete!
